Strategic and financial challenges are driving nonprofit organizations to strengthen governance and management. Success depends on the board’s and chief executive's ability to develop a competitive and forward vision, lead the organization through change, and develop resources to accomplish organizational objectives.

Board members who understand their responsibilities are best equipped to lead nonprofits in navigating through uncharted waters. Organizations are effective when boards and staffs recognize their respective roles and work in concert. Today, as never before, boards are shaping the nonprofit sector.

In this highly acclaimed BVU seminar, speakers discuss the roles and responsibilities of nonprofit board members and consider challenges and opportunities facing nonprofits. This seminar includes presentations, a panel discussion, case study analysis, and discussion.
